iPhone 11 Pro How many of you have the 10 failures wipe option on?

I have it turned on. Make sure you have a recent iCloud, iMazing, and possible Mac backup and it should be a quick restore, should the phone get wiped.
So they wipe it. So what? You're backing it up, of course.
And the phone shouldn't be authoritative, in any case.
I have it turned on, and backup my iPhone7 to my iMac through iTunes periodically. Seems to be adequate.
How does anyone ever use your phone, unless you hand it to them? Just don't do that. I certainly don't.
In addition to kids, there is always the chance of theft, robbery or accident, when one may leave a phone behind.
I have it turned on. Though why exactly, I don't know. I've just had it that way for years. I have no kids that would play with it.
I have iCloud for that. I pay $0.99 for the 50gb plan because of my photos. I have it turned on just in case I lose my phone.
Have you ever been around children? They pick up things without you noticing sometimes.

Yup, the time that the phone is disabled increases for each wrong attempt after the initial 1 minute disable time.
Oh well perfect....feature on. I was more concerned with friends picking my phone up and trying to get in it while at a bar or something and I step away. I'd certainly be back in contact during the disable period.
I haven't gotten to anything over 10 minutes while trying it for myself a while ago, and that was after about 3 failed attempts, so unless you're planning on taking a road trip and leaving your phone behind at a bar you should be good.
I have it turned on and backup all my devices to iCloud in the event that’s it’s wiped accidentally.
