Just curious if I’m clumsy or if it’s normal to have a few micro scratches on my Series 6 bought at launch.

They’re not noticeable in anything but daylight and I have AppleCare for anything more extreme.

All my watches, under a bright light, have "micro scratches" that I can't see under normal light or with normal usage.

I even put a nasty half screen gash in my S5 on the edge of a marble counter top. Even that was hard to see in normal usage - so much so, I lived with it for most of the year I owned that watch.

I think the oleophobic? coating tends to micro scratch a lot.

I have AppleCare+ but even with that nasty half screen gash (could feel it with fingernail) - I didn't end up using it when I was told I could. 😛

None.

But Don’t fall into the trap of over obsessing with your Apple Watch looking for Micro scratches under certain lighting conditions or a magnifying glass, as you put yourself in a situation that you won’t be able to turn it off if you keep looking for them. Just keep in mind, it’s a ‘smart watch’, It’s meant to accrue damage over the course of time.
