I'm getting into Flex development now and I'm looking for some good sources (e.g. blogs, tutorials, etc.) to learn about the technologies used in developing Flex applications.

I just bought a MBP, so what sort of things should I install in order to help with Flex development on my machine? MAMP? Flex Builder? Should I buy it or use the Eclipse plugin and the SDK to start? I've got the Flex Cookbook and Training From the Source books. I learn best by doing, so very involved tutorials work very well for me.

I really love the idea of creating RIAs. I've been a Java developer for a few years and I'm getting tired of the same old enterprise applications...

I'm looking to use technologies such as PHP, AJAX, XHTML, CSS3--you know, the usual. Eventually, I'd like to learn about the BlazeDS framework (since I'm a Java developer).

Any tips from anyone currently developing Flex apps on their Mac? Thanks.
