As a recent convert to Mac I find myself touting the superiority of the Mac OS over Vista. So far no converts but many are listening because they are experiencing the same frustrating issues I had with my PC.

Must be nice. Here is a picture of my first computer with my grandson.

What a home computer could look like in 2004? :D

It didn't even work, due to needing technology that hadn't been invented yet. Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Back in the mid-1980's I first began learning about the wonderful things computers could do. In 1990 (or maybe it was 1991) I bought my first home computer, an IBM PS/1. (Although it had a sort of graphical interface it really ran on the DOS platform.) From there I went to WIN 3.1 and subsequently moved up through the various versions of Windows which followed. Nearly three years ago a friend told me with great excitement that she had just bought a new G5 iMac. Huh? A MAC? She had gone to the Dark Side and bought a MAC?!! I knew very little about the Mac platform and so set out to learn more so that I could carefully tell her what a terrible mistake she had just made. Instead I found myself more and more intrigued by what I was learning and seeing and the next thing you know I was buying my very own Mac and coming into the Light..... The thing stunned me from Day 1 and I fell in love immediately. The rest is history. This past winter I finally disposed of the Windows PCs that I was no longer using, had no longer used for quite some time. This is an all-Mac household now and I'm soooo happy!!!

After my new Mac came the joys of discovering iTunes and the iPod....After that the wonders of the first intel-based Macs. And of course with the announcement of the original iPhone last year I just HAD to get in line for one. Ditto this year for the 3G iPhone.

So, yeah, I am so totally an Apple junkie. Apple stickers on my car, Macs and Apple products all over my house.... I'm typing this on my MacBook Air while sitting out on my condo unit balcony enjoying the summer night....

As Daphne Kalton says in her wonderful "I Love My Mac" song, Thanks, Jobs and Woz!!!
