My total stands at 2!

Both at one point were my best friends!

One bought a new ibook G4 almost a year ago and the other a brand new BlackBook only 1 week ago! I do feel good knowing I have somehow funded development costs for Apple inc.!

I myself have bought 2 laptops in the last 4 years!!!

I'd say at least 75 - 100. Easily. I worked at an educational reseller for a year and Best Buy for about 2 years. 75% of my new computer sales were people I switched to Mac.

Well thats easier for you because you work around macs and people come to you for advice! I hard to work my arse off to convert 2 people from a completely PC biased school!

There are now 5 pupils with macs out of 700!

most of my friends think macs are for emo people. I'm living proof that they're not lol. They don't even consider it because they think no one uses them and if you do use one you are just trying to be different than everyone else...and in their minds that means being emo....yes, they are narrow minded i know.

I've personally switched 6. These are friends and colleagues. It's really not that hard to sell someone on them. Apart from the machines themselves and the operating system, they are impressed with the support that comes with them and what Applecare does as well.
Afterall, all my brother-in-law said to me 4 yrs ago when I was looking for a new machine was, "Just get an iMac".

I recently switched my wife. It was a pretty easy switch, didn't even have to ask. All I did was buy her the computer and say, "Here's your new computer". That was good enough for her.

At least three:

my wife (because her Thinkpad died), her brother (because his Dell died), and their father (because his Dell died).

But I've convinced countless people of the merits of a Mac, but they haven't gotten around to their next purchase yet.

Over 5 here as well- my brother and a couple cousins and their girlfriends. I have also told my parents that regardless of what they say, they are getting a mac for their next computer. Same with all the family, actually- the brother and I have gotten very sick of being the family I.T. guys. :)

Funny about the parents, actually- my father wants "one of those iPods" he keeps hearing about. :)

3 switchers, 1 waiting for cash, and 2 weighing their options. Of the two, one's about 75% sure and the other about 40% considering.

ive successfully switched 3 completely, and I have 2 more considering Macs

Yay me. (Coming from a switcher-backer)

One directly, many more indirectly (my staff have no choice but to use them for most of their day :D). However, I've switched 'with' many others along the way - I know more people now with Mac's than PC's, and that's a pretty bold statement to make in the UK I think :D

Just tell them if their next purchase is not a Mac, that they are on their own. Fair warning! ;)

Oh, and 0 for me, I haven't even switched myself. But I'm ready! :D
