Actually, in my experience IT guys are usually easy to switch. If they've ever used a Cisco router, switch or whatever then they'll be pleasantly surprised when you tell them OS X runs on UNIX which you can access via terminal. Worked for me and a friend more than once.

I've successfully switched my father and mother, my best friend and my wife. I have another good friend who is seriously thinking of buying a Mac (he absolutely hates his Dell ... with good reason).

My father is the only one who currently has bought a Mac (a 24" iMac beauty) but my mother is on his new iMac more than her own computer and is deciding between a MacBook or Mac mini. The next computer purchase we'll make will be my wife's Black MacBook and my best friend recently sold his old Dell laptop and is waiting for Leopard to be released to buy his MacBook.

I wish I was this vocal about my Christianity. That's isn't it?

I still have only converted 2 but I have managed to wow loadsa people! I was in geography today and had made a cool mind map using omnigraffle pro! Everyone elses was a crap microsoft word one and my teacher selected mine as the best! She asked in which program I had made it and when i told her it was for mac she jookily said "I should have a look at buying a mac then!"

Score might be 3 peeps in the near future!
