I'd love to work for Apple, I don't really know what I'd be good at - but even if it was selling their products or working as an IT in an Apple Store, I'd like to do that. Even for 6 months.

A while ago I was offered a job at the Apple Store twice... but at the time I wasn't old enough.
I am considering it once a job opens at my local Apple Store.
But I dream of making it big in headquarters. :D

I wouldn't want to work for them, maybe something backstage but I'd take a similar post at any software/hardware manufacturer. Certainly nothing in retail.

I'm in College right now studying marketing and advertising and plan on applying for apple's internship when I graduate. it's a longshot but I want to try anyway.

I am working for them as a student promotor, but just today found out that there is a chance for me to get a job at Apple.

How old would you have to be to get a job at a store?
Like as a tech specialist or some other position similar to that.

I wouldn't mind working there. Right now I am a college student and need some pocket change and also need to pay off my credit, I think i'm going to apply there this week actually lol. I don't go back to school until March 30th. So this is time to go job hunting, even if the economy in the US isn't too desirable.

I'm gonna be going to college in Boston, and my college is about a minute (walking) from the main campus building. Pretty awesome. The Boylston Street Apple store, that is. I'm going to be applying for sure there when i go to college. Not being able to post on Macrumors is going to be hard, but we'll see how that works out. I kind of wish I could get a job at the Genius bar, but I know I'm not technically savvy enough to do that.

I applied for a job during a hiring event last October. Went to the Michigan Ave. store in Chicago and was interviewed with other prospective employees. Managers from all the Apple stores in the area were there and I had a fun time even though I didn't get the job.

If you're going to apply for a job at Apple, be sure to remain calm. We were asked amusing questions such as what the most embarassing song on your iPod is, why you wanted to work here, and what brought you to the Apple community in the first place.

Near the end of the group interview, we were asked to get in groups of 2-3 and present Leopard to the managers. I thought my group did a nice job, but I was probably put as the weakest link. My performance was great, I guess it was the fact that I wasn't wearing a three piece suit that was the death knell for me. I was so underdressed compared to others...

I went to one of those this past spring. Incidentally I was probably a little overdressed for it compared to the others in the group. :p Didn't get the job either.

I want to work at Apple itself as a software engineer to get a taste of working at large corporations.

I would never want to work retail again, however, I'd love a corp. job with Apple. Give me marketing please...
