... of crap would fill your pants if Steve came out and announced that the new iPhone would be a free upgrade with no contract extension for all iPhone 3G owners before today due to the below "Apple Standard" build quality of the 3G, and they are extending this offer as a display of commitment to their faithful customers.

Not only would that be incredible news for all of us 3G owners, but it would be a well deserved smack to all of the "Buy now or wait" crowd.

Will this ever happen though? Absolutely not.

Which brings me to a point to this thread, what completely unbelievable and undoubtibly impossible thing would you die to see today?

I don't care one way or the other. I bought an iPhone 3G and I can upgrade at the subsidized price already so it doesn't affect me either way.
