how many RAM slots in the 24"

getting a 24 soon as the latest ones are announced, I see you get 2g of RAM but its 2 1g's, I'd like to buy an extra 2g, how many RAM slots are on the 24"?
if its only 2 like my current imac then id have to buy 2 2g's and then id have the 2 1g's i had with the mac as spare😕😕
is this correct??????

I'm pretty sure iMacs have always had 2 slots. The Mac Pro is the only system with 4 slots.

The system can use the RAM more effectively if its split evenly over two SODIMMs

Its probably also cheaper for apple to use 2 1gbs instead of 1 2gb.
