Just a simple poll to discover and discuss the capitulation point of the update waiters. Have you capitulated, and when did you see sense?

Where is the poll?

That is so baad it hurts. Only thing it doesn't have is Blu-Ray. 😎

Spinnerlys>> I was adding the poll options while you replied. 🙄

I got one for my girlfriend for her birthday in January as I knew she wouldn't care about the difference.

I'm waiting because I'll know about the difference even if I don't happen to use the extra processor all the time. I do actually do a fair bit a lightroom and RAW processing so I think waiting is the right call.

I've got an old first gen C2D iMac that is holding me over.

I have to say, with all the iPad talk, I'm tempted to go for a Lenovo x201 tablet which is coming out next week and forget the new MBP. I was nice of Lenovo to pre-announce release dates, specs and give units to reviewers prior to launch, very civilized of them.

I've pretty much given up on the refreshes all together and have settled on getting a refurb. Truth be told current gen MBP's are more than capable to handle anything I'll be throwing at them (photoshop mainly). I really can't see the i5/i7's being that substantial of an update.

While I agree witht he performance, I am just irked when for the money, it should have an i5/i7 chip
Your Mac has a built-in dictionary. Just right click on a word and select "Look Up In Dictionary", or mouse over the word and press Control+Command+D
