Hello everyone
This is not the sexiest of questions – it concerns iPhone backups – so thank you for reading.
I only have the 200GB iCloud subscription and if I place my iPhone backup there I run out of space due to the photo library.
On my Mac Pro (running Monterey), have a full backup from a year ago which I would like to keep. The SSD used for my home folder is only 350GB so I won't be able to archive the old backup and create a new backup.
Another drive in the Mac Pro does have space so what I am wondering is how I go about moving the old backup from ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync to that other drive — is it as simple as drawing the Backup folder in MobileSync to the other drive?
Thank you very much in advance
Philip
