I have an iPhone with the same AT&T unlimited data plan that came with my first iPhone (3G) from 2008. I previously asked about the grandfathered plan in another thread.

Now I am curious: If you still have the AT&T grandfathered unlimited data plan, how much are you paying monthly, including all voice, data, text message, etc. costs?

Below is my bill. I am paying $63 per month. Is that good? I really like the plan because ATT raised the throttling limit to 22GB in a month back on September 15.

Please answer the poll.

I am paying $39.99 for my voice plan but I get unlimited minutes. I pay same as you for unlimited data and same as you for messaging except I get unlimited text (looks like you get 1,000), and also get a fan discount which looks like is about the same as yours.

So unlimited talk, text and data for about $10 more than you a month. I haven't gotten my first bill since lowering my messaging to $10 for unlimited so don't know the exact amount. I expect it to be around $72-$73 all-in.

$150 for 2 lines with 700 Nation talk minutes, unlimited text, unlimited data. And that price includes our 25% FAN discount. Now obviously we have unlimited talk minutes with wifi calling.

Wouldn't you prefer to have less talk minutes in exchange for a lower bill?

I just ditched AT&T grandfathered unlimited, for T-Mobile, when the 6s came out. I was paying:

~70 for unlimited voice
~30 for unlimited data
~20 for unlimited texts
And there were lots of other small fees. Biggest pain was that they didn't let me use the wifi hotspot, which was huge for me.

What plan did you get at t mobile?

$80 for unlimited everything, but wifi hotspot is limited to 7Gb. Free calling/roaming to Canada and Mexico helps.

So far, coverage is pretty good, but I suspect I'll lose a few steps in rural areas? I would have stayed with AT&T is they just let me use wifi hotspot, but they wouldn't unless I ditched my unlimited plan.

I'm holding out hope that they will eventually, like they did with FaceTime. I know I know, keep dreaming. LOL

I'm down to $62/mo with my FAN and DirecTV/ATT combined billing discounts.

Unlimited data and minutes / 1500 sms plan.

You have almost exactly the same costs as I do. Your final bill must be around $60/month. Great!
Idk this is my first month with it
Also they just gave me a free microcell + 125 dollar credit for being unable to mail it to me, I had to drive 30 mins to get it at a corporate store lol.

How can this be your first month with AT&T grandfathered unlimited data? This plan ended for new subscribers in 2010.

$40 for unlimited talk AND text
$30 for unlimited data
Plus my Next installment plan for my iPhone 6s and mobile insurance.
Total is about $120 total

My Unlimited data plan itself with AT&T is only $22/month with my 24% FAN discount. My total bill with calling/texting/data comes to $64/month with taxes included.

How did you work all of that? My minute plan is 39.99, unlimited text is 20, and data is 30. I tried to get my txt lowered and they discounted what i was seeing forums and kept it where it is. I didn't think to try to get the voice plan lowered. So I'm curious if you did anything beside ask to get those changes.

I posted earlier, I think I hit 611, #3 #4 retention, I simply asked for 10 text and gave to me, then guy said I don't use much talk, offered me 30 dollar voice plan.

Is it really possible for me to be paying 45 a month?!? Next month I'll know for sure. 50 with the 5 in tax. I'm in heaven if so. Just signed another 2 year contract too.

There's no way this can be accurate can it??
