I'm still on AT&T unlimited grandfathered paying >$200 for two lines with no hotspot etc.

Please recommend alternatives as I don't think it's worth remaining on grandfathered unlimited any more.
Check out the plans from various telecom carriers.
Some unlimited plans are as low as ~$45/month (single line) and that's with 5G, if available in your area.
May be lower if you have 2+ lines.
Good luck!

Xfinity Mobile per Gig plan.. older grandfather plan... $12/month for 1 Gb, before taxes with Unlimited minutes and text & add. 1 Gb is $10. Newer rate is $15/month for 1 Gb.
Generally surrounded by Wifi wherever I go so don't need to pay more for data.
Sometimes, depending on where I go, there's a lack of wifi so use up more data so pay $10 for 1 add. Gb.

Would like to switch to another carrier, say, Mint Mobile, but Xfinity made it difficult in getting a Security PIN to transfer my telephone number which I had for years, to another carrier. It messed up my settings upon transfer so had to revert back to Xfinity, for now.
I switched to Mint and have no trouble on their T-Mobile network. If you have Xfinity and the Verizon network that they use works well for you, consider US Mobile. Pricing similar to Mint but you can choose to use T-Mobile or Verizon network when you sign up.

Canada - Telus (Manitoba)

60$/mo for 25gb 'unlimited' 5G
44$/mo iPhone Pro Max 14
15$/mo Phone Replacement/Loss/Theft through Telus

And this is a discount through my employer :/

We left Verizon 7-8 years ago. Some were free lines, others were the keeping it under 2 GB and get $10 off. One Plus came into play for no additional cost. It was all about timing and jumping on the “on us” promotions.

Nice. I came from AT&T similarly. We have 5 lines $170 One plan. Had to add the plus for $15 in one line to get the current promo, and upgrade to the iPhone 14 (had an 8+). They were pushing me to upgrade to Magenta MAX like for +$100 extra, the plus add was enough to match the ´premium´. Will be more attentive going forward for the next wave of upgrades and promotions. Kids in the family growing fast and likely will need more lines. Thanks for sharing.

You’re welcome. Our kids are entering into their mid to later teen years and finding these free lines has been extremely beneficial. I think last month I saw that I saved something along the lines of $350 of all the regular promos.

I paid $150 aud for a years service unlimited everything and international call/text with 100gig data with boost Australia.

Pretty happy with it tbh.

$131 after taxes for 4 lines with Unlimited International calling on all lines and unlimited LTE. Grandfathered T-Mobile Simple Choice. International for all lines combined was an un-advertised promo ($10) I found when checking add-ons one day. Normally international is per line cost. I’d encourage other T-Mobile users to intermittently check add on options in the app for un-advertised promos.

I switched from my single-line AT&T grandfathered unlimited plan go at the beginning of this year - the cost is no longer worthwhile, running over $90/month when I left.

I'm now on AT&T Starter Unlimited - $71/month total, and been very happy with cellular performance.

I can easily get a better price/plan elsewhere, but AT&T service has been great for me where I live - and don't have the desire for more changes at the moment.

Personally, I spend only $20 for a VoIP number, but I have unlimited calls and text messages, and I can call anywhere in the world, without any problems. I think that's not all the benefits of a VoIP number from Mightycall, because their network is more secure, which means that no one will be able to wiretap you, and also all the data that you tie to this number will be much more protected. It's worth the money.
