I have a baseline 2.6 with 450. Stays around 30'C (86'F) in temperature.
I also have the 2.6 with 450 and mine stays around 86'F but if I'm just surfing and reading it's 85'F.
It's the battery discharge rate that I'm mostly impressed with, mine stays around 6 to 8% from just surfing the web. I've been on for 2 hrs 45 mins and I'm only down to 94% from a full charge with 11 hrs remaining and iTunes has been running in the background.

There are some rumors that the 15" might switch to desktop DDR4 to support more than 16GB of RAM (a dubious rumor to me, personally)

For me this is the real question. If they do this, it's worth waiting for in my case. If not, then i guess not really.

So.. I'm hit with a similar debate. In CAN and am considering upgrading from a mid-2015 2.5gHz 512 AMD M370x to a 2016 tMBP 512 460. Would cost me about $1k to get the refurbished version, which I'm fine with. Worth it to upgrade now or wait for the second iteration?

I did test out they keyboard in store. I'm a fan of it... the mid-2015 is a bit weird for me still. But not sure if it's worth the 1k upgrade. Secondary to that, I don't know how much longer I'll be able to get $2500 for my current MacBook.

If there's nothing in particular you're waiting for, and you're sure you want to upgrade, may as well buy now.
