What network did you go to? I'm considering Vodafone!!! Quite high but apparently it's the best network in the UK. I've been been with Orange for about 7 years and they where amazing till the merger with T - Mobile. I think there's too much people on the network for a solid service, give it a few years I think they'll be up there again.

Vodafone are crap why would you even consider going to them, there allowances are low and so are speeds.

3 or GiffGaff is the way

Ever since my Internet has been down, I have used 1GB of data over the past week, going 500MB over my allowance, cheeky buggers from Vodafone charged me nearly £20 for the extra 500MB!

... Though my Internet is now coming back, slowly :D

I'm with Vodafone, I must admit signal and Internet service is poor in more services than that of other networks; however they are pretty decent when you are in need of cheap contracts and handsets :) . O2 is quite good though, considering going to them for my next iPhone as they now have new contract plans with more flexibility, and the ability to upgrade as and when you like, just suggesting :)

Stop the presses--you used 350GB in a month? Even if you are tethering and playing movies all day that's impressive. At what point did you get throttled?

every 3-5 gbb you get soft throttled then it goes away. I got hard throttled at 350 gbs this month

and last month I had 756 GB

I do a lot of video editing working with a cloud. It was fun while it lasted.

Verizon iPhone 5 Unlimited Data plan: 25+GB a month

----------

I use around 30-45gb a month on LTE. I have an unlimited plan on Verizon. Worth every penny :)

I agree. It's more than worth the cost of paying full price and I will pay full price when the 2014 iPhone comes out in a flash

And they have not throttled you yet?

I use 4-6GB / mo on unlimited Verizon.

My AT&T unlimited ipad sees 7-10GB / mo.

My god, what's he using? Netflix 24/7?

35GB in a week is pretty impressive.

Nope. AT&T doesn't throttle me anymore. They used to

Normally under 5GB per month but this month was 21.5GB. My DSL modem broke and it took a week to get the new one. I tethered to my computers and iPad that week. I have T-Mobile on my phones.

Never more than 3GB. That is even using iTunes match while commuting.

It's incredible that there are people using almost a PB per month... I don't get near close that even at home with a 50Mb speed.

I'm a heavy data consumer, and this post got me wondering how we would all manage if HDD / SSD and external storage had not kept pace with computing technology.

I come from back in the day when a 20MB ( yep, MB) was the norm, and now have access to around 50GB of storage space, and that's on a home network too.

Seems that the more cheap and affordable storage becomes, the more I use..:)

Around 1gbish per month. My connection on Straight Talk isn't fast enough for streaming HD nd I have wifi most of the time.

I use about 20 MB/day if I'm not home and on WiFi.

For some reason my iPhone apps seem to use a lot of data. I suspect that downloading photos from Facebook, Twitter, and Tapatalk has something to do with it.

Three. Unlimited data, with tethering for £35 per month. LTE coming fourth quarter for no additional cost :D

If I were you I would check your area(s) with the Three postcode checker and come join me!

Since I don't have wifi, it's usually 2-3 GB, and my usage would definitely be higher if Sprint's service wasn't so crappy. I mainly browse the Internet and use twitter, anything else data-related requires patience and persistence, 6-second vine videos can take 2+ minutes to load.

350GB.

ATT has crack down on me though.

can't do **** with dial up speeds now.

That's insane!! Do you do all your surfing, streaming, downloading, etc. through your data plan?! That's twice as much as I use with unlimited broadband each month, and I stream/download HD movies and tv daily.

I use less than 1GB of data a month since at home or work my phone is connected to wi-fi, so I only need to use data while I'm out for GPS, google searches, checking my email, and web surfing or facebook if I'm bored.

*edit to add*
I just saw your earlier post about video editing on the cloud, so that explains the quantity of data, but do you not have a broadband modem and wi-fi?

Did anybody else notice a huge jump with iOS 6? Because I was consistently at or below 1Gb previously and... well you see below.

Those first couple months were because of the iPod app downloading like crazy in the background and some of the spikes are because of some netflix usage, but even taking all that out I've now been averaging just below 3GB, about 3x what I was at previously.

I average 20-25 GB a month. I stream SiriusXM (128 Kbps) all day at construction sites that typically have no Wifi. During lunch I watch NFL Network, CNN, or Cartoon Network live streams. I always leave the house with 100% battery and by the time I get home It'll be 20%. no complaints with Verizon LTE. It's just simply amazing.

I swear that it's apps that are doing this. I had not used Facebook all day, and when I updated my news feed tonight that are 3MB in the space of a few seconds.

It's all the photos people post in Facebook that the app puts into my news feed.
