How much data does Find My Phone use?

I'm considering a transfer from Sprint (unlimited data) to AT&T (2 GB Data Plan), and wanted to know how much data Find my Phone used if I left it on. I've heard it uses 3G Cellular Data constantly, so this could be a problem for me.

It uses cell tower and wi-fi spots to locate, but as far as I know it does not use any data while just left turned on.

I believe it works the same way as other apps like twitter do. They only refresh when you go into them a trigger the refresh.
