If you backed up your new ip4 from your old iphone it's taking your info from that too I started using my new phone friday and it says I've had 2 days 13 hours of call time and received 1.3 gb no way that is right my average with my 3gs was around 200mb a month and I'm mostly on wifi.

What doesn't make sense for me is, why when I log in to my at&t account does it not show the same number under data usage as I do in the settings of my iphone?

That can't be right.....that has to be lifetime right? I know I've listened to pandora all say everyday on 3G, but damn!!

I've never really bothered with resetting stats. Anyway to view how much data I've sent / received without resetting my stats?

Folks, if you used an old iPhone backup, you're seeing the data usage from the last time you reset your old iPhone or the total usage ever if you never reset.

I reset my usage (it was at 500MB approximately after I installed from my old iPhone backup) and I've used 90MB since Thursday. This is about the same as my monthly usage with my 2G iPhone, so I'm on track for 600+MB/month, and that's despite being on WiFi 90% of the time.

I reupped my unlimited plan, since I don't know just how much I'll use with this one.

I know with at&t I just log into my account and it tells me what I am at for the current billing cycle there is an at&t app that makes it easy for me to check
