After making a decision on the amount of data I may need each month I wondered what everyone else has gone for.

Since we have a poll for which iPhone we are all getting/not getting I thought I'd see what our usage habits could be.

6+ 2GB Data. £43 (excl VAT) per month on O2

Wish I had that free EU data roaming like with EE, but 2GB is enough for me usually :(

I've 10GB on my plan. I'm with Vodafone and the plan is £58.50 p/m, but I do get a 20% discount through my employer.

Unlimited (giffgaff) but there isn't an option for that #

Ha ha, I noticed that once I had done it. Any way to change a poll?

I just looked at the plans that the carriers offer without thinking about the people that already have unlimited or will take Three's unlimited offer.

I can't vote as you don't have the correct choices. Where is the >20GB option?

I have completely unlimited data (including tethering) from Three. Costs me £15 a month...

3GB only use the data during commute on Bart..all of the places I go usually have WiFi

I've not chosen my contract yet but am debating between 100mb and 250mb. Probably go with 250mb to be on te safe side as 4G will no doubt use more than 3G.

Are you seriously contemplating an allowance in MB????

You know a single speed test on 4G could use 50-100MB depending on speed?

Video on 4G can run between 500MB and 1GB per hour for Netflix or iPlayer....

How many people would stream a movie on 4G?

I was on 250MB data plan with O2 until a couple of months ago (moved to 1GB only as I needed to tether iMac to net during home move), and that 250MB was generally fine for basic browsing of news and twitter etc

Unlimited 4G including tethering on Three for £15 per month :)
Paying for the iPhone 6 outright via the finance option at £48 per month for 12 months. Pay £576 in total. £37 more to finance the phone over a year is a good deal to me :)

A large number, you haven't noticed the popularity of apps like iPlayer, TVCatchup and SkyGo, not to mention Netflix...

I thought people just streamed over wifi and weren't using their data allowances..

5GB on EE.

Buying phone outright and plan is 2000mins, 5GB 4G, unlimited text and 08 call bundle (08 calls included in minutes) for £10 a month for 6 months then 20£ after!

How do you stream over wifi when commuting or any other place without wifi, perhaps sitting in a park, or in a hotel with expensive or slow wifi?
