You know, the one that came out in October with the express-card slot ? Wasn't the 15.4" model $1,999 or $1,899 with Education Pricing when it 1st came out?

The 15" launched in October 2008 WITH Firewire 800 for $1999. I believe with the education discount, it was $1799.

There were two models that were released in October, the 2.4 GHz model (3 MB L2 Cache, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 9400M (256 MB Shared) and 9600M GT (256 MB Dedicated) for the GPU) was $1,999 or $1,899 with student discount and the 2.53 GHz (6 MB L2 Cache, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 9400M (256 MB Shared) and 9600M GT (512 MB Dedicated) for the GPU)model was $2,499 or $2,299 with the student discount. Currently the 2.4 GHz Model is on the Online Refurbished Apple Store for $1,349 and the 2.53 GHz Model has been cycling in and out and it is normally $1,449 on the Refurbished section.
