If you sold your ipad or traded it in in the last few months, how much did you get?

Over 80%, sold my mom's for her (she doesn't want a big iPad anymore). It fetched 450, not bad for being 7mo. old.

Sad but true. I was waiting for ipad 5 for like forever but ended up buying note 10.1 2014 just for the multitasking. They should introduce an ios specifically designed for ipad asap.

I sold my 64GB Wi-Fi just before iOS 7 was released, figuring that prices would drop significantly once the new iPads were announced. After charges, I got just over 75% of what I paid for it, which is probably what Apple will be selling refurbished ones for next week.

I sold the smart cover separately.

Interestingly, it seems the higher capacity iPads have a higher resale value percentage compared to the original value.

What are the trading value percentages in the us? In the Uk, they are only about 50-60%.

I sold my 64GB Black WiFi+Cellular iPad 3 for 60% of what I paid. Not bad for something that was over 18 months old.

That means if I decide to get an iPad 5, a 16GB WiFi model is already paid for.
I only used the cellular feature twice in all that time, and while I thought I would need the space going from a 16GB iPad 2, my habits have changed and I don't really use much of the built in storage any more.

I'm not sure that I will be replacing it with another iPad though. The main thing it ended up being used for was video playback, and Microsoft's Surface Pro seems like a much better solution for that. (no more converting videos!)

In Canada the market price for iPad 2's is 300-340. Sold my 16GB WiFi with 6.1.3 for $340 so not a bad deal for it being 2.3 years old. Bought it for $423 after taxes so turned out to be 80%, which isn't bad.

I sold my 16GB wifi iPad 4 for $400 on Kijiji. I was hoping to get a bit more ($425-450) but I got so many low offers so I relisted it as "$400 firm" and it sold within 2 days. I'm happy with it.

Just sold mine for 260£ (+/-420$). 16gb Wifi. I want to upgrade for a mini, so that wasn't a bad deal.
