i agree, working at an apple store, 'technical' as it may be - you can do alot better. let's not forget why one works - for money! i'm 17 and work at an entertainment centre - $30 an hour. A job as a genius would be more technical than what i do.
I wasn't talking retail, I was talking about apple corporate jobs, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they paid their retail employees rather crappily as well.

Probably. I think the sort of people that work there are really dedicated and love what they do and just generally love Apple. They would probably work for cheaper just because they love Apple and have the dedication.

I'm awesome at computers and geek squad offers me $25 an hour right off that bat when I'm 14. They said I could work younger because I'm so good at computers:D. They got everything set up for next year when I work there:cool:. I would love to support my self at a early age too. I might get a job as a Apple Genius $15+ an hour and work at geek squad for $20+ an hour!. I would love to get $700 a week. If I get off at school 3:30pm and try to finish all work in school, I can work for 5 hours a day on school days= $100 a day! But my dad says to focus on education rather than money and jobs. Geek squad also said I could get up to $35 an hour when I am 16.

I am wanting to get a job at Apple and be a Specialist. I am 16 years old and I live in San Diego, CA. I was wondering how much do you make a hour at Apple ? Please help.;)

If you are only 16 ... I think you have to start on the assembly line at Foxconn first
