$30 a month for 3 lines which gets us all the minutes and text we need. We use Puretalk which is basically an ATT piggyback with 2x iphones and 1x w7

I also use a freedompop hotspot for data when I need it

Are you saying your data speeds on your wireless carrier are at speeds of 1 Gb/s? No LTE delivers that type of speeds.

Since some other non-Americans have replied...

1. NZ$39 (US$32)
2. Telecom
3. Smartphone 39
4. Tethering/hotspot are included in the price
5. Sort of. Data speeds have slowed as people have moved from 1x and EVDO phones over to the HSPA+ network. I'm looking at switching to 2degrees which will cost me approx NZ$120 per 6 months.

how do you have yours set up with AT&T? I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan with my iPhone at about $90 US and my wife has a droid just shy of 100 with AT&T (limited data). We want to combine our plans but I would rather not loose my unlimited because its nice to have when I want.

So you get a family talk plan and have individual data plans for each line (share minutes and messaging plan, but have separate data plans).

Pay $56 after taxes
AT&T
450 min + 200mb data (I'm mostly on WiFi so don't need a lot of data)
Get 19% discount from work

Once my contract is up in May, going to switch to SimpleMobile for their $40 plan (T-Mobile has refarmed near me, so I'll get their "4G")

Verizon Wireless - iPhone 5
Total bill is $67.85/month.
$59.99/month - talk & text (450 min; unlimited text)
$9.99 unlimited data (i got it through their retention program a little over a year ago)
$2.99 roadside assistance
15% work discount

I bought the iPhone 5 at full retail to keep the $9.99 unlimited data. Very satisfied.

I've been called a liar on here before (about the data), so I'll post a pic.

I'd like to get a sense of how much my fellow Americans out there are paying for their cellphone services each month - to decide whether I'm paying too much, or being too cheap with my current plan/contract. Five basic questions for you:

a.) How much do you pay for your wireless service monthly? $99.54

b.) Which carrier are you under contract with? Verizon

c.) What plan did you go with? Nationwide 65 Plus share 450

d.) Do you have any other additional services (tethering, hotspot, etc.) No

e.) Are you satisfied with it? Service yes, price no. One dumb phone one iPhone 4s.

If it weren't for the over 65 discount, I probably would give up the iphone. It's nice to have but not critical for us.
