That's a really great deal.

I guess non-iPhone customers are still so valuable to AT&T because they can really switch, whereas, iPhone customers won't go anywhere.

So, you have 3 unlocked iPhones and AT&T doesn't know at all?

well, in a way they know we have iPhones, becuase when I log into my account online it shows that we have iPhones. They use to send us text and email saying we should get the "right data plans for our phones to avoid extra charges" but those text quit coming months ago.

I think as long as your paying your bill on time, you may use whatever phone you wish. I've heard that the TOS states that they can add the iPhone data plan if they know you're using one. But if they did that, people like myself would just go somewhere else.

AT&T has been somewhat good to me over the years. They have wavied my activation & upgrade fees and once waived an overage of over 2,000 text msg. Just last month, they replaced my stereo bluetooth headset I bought from them a year ago because it broke.

However, there is something I did notice with friends that also have AT&T. They do not treat new customer the same way. VERY POORLY

Sorry about the rambling... :D

$105 CDN

iphone:
6GB data
10,000 text
visual voicemail
call waiting
call forwarding upto 1000 min
caller ID
Network calling (rogers to rogers free)
evening from 5pm free
weekends free

Last week I purchased two of the iPhone 3GS (32 GB) with the AT&T Family Talk plan. The plan comes with 700 anytime minutes with rollover. Of that I will only use one hour or so, but my wife will use the rest of the time.

Also, we have unlimited data, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited iPhone to iPhone minutes. Since we call each other the most this is going to be sweet. If we don't use more than 550 anytime minutes per month, I will downgrade to that plan which would save us $10 plus taxes.

Yesterday, I added the roadside assistance for $2.99 per month to our bill. So it will come out to roughly $153.00 per month before taxes. The first bill is going to be higher than normal because of the $36 activation for the first iPhone and $26 for the second iPhone.

you guys pay alot!

heres my breakdown and this is no lie.

5 lines

You...do not pay a lot.
Why do you get 1/4th off data?

Again, (For comparison with yours) I pay:

700 Family Minutes- 60$
2 extra lines- $20
Data Plans on two lines (Blackberry and my 3GS)- $60

That's $140 right there.

I also have 200 texts on 3 plans.
My total is around $155 after taxes, and my discount.
I have 4 lines total.
