Caseless of course :D.

The camera bump has always annoyed me since it was introduced (iPhone 6 onwards?).

Anyone have any videos to demonstrate? Or alternatively know the 'height' of the camera bump?

I think it has a pretty low camera bump compared to Pro and other smartphones.

Thanks, it does 'appear' lower than previous years...

Hoping a lucky early owner can chime in.

I have the 12 Pro and it rocks much less than my previous X. I'm with you in the hating the camera bump camp, it's poor design.

It's either a camera bump or thicker phone. Personally, I wouldn't mind thicker if they used the space for a bigger battery.

I'm with you and feel like it's time to put away the thinness fad of the mid-2010s. Having a back with flush cameras and using the extra storage for a bigger battery and potentially other tech is a much more functional benefit than a couple of millimeters of thinness (in my opinion).

It rocks less than my 6 Plus - 11 Pro did, but still notably rocks with tapping noises while typing.

it is unusable. I mean you cannot play a game or type because it will rock.

Personally I think this is a weird way to measure thickness. The bump counts! The phone is only as thin as it’s thickest part in each dimension. In my view, it’s already that thick - so please just make it level and pack some extra battery life in.

I get most people slap a case on, but designing the phones around an often 3rd party add on is similarly annoying to me. The phone itself should be designed well. If people want to sacrifice design for protection that’s their prerogative, but why Apple compromises from the get go is something I don’t understand. And it’s also something that has always seemed very un-Apple to me. Then again, these are the same company that designed charging ports for the Magic Mouse and 1st Gen Apple Pencil, so maybe it’s my expectations for them that are out of whack

Yep, this is where it's most annoying!

Plus, if the phone could lay flat, it'd be more noticeable when vibrating on silent mode, which would be nice.

I prefer the camera bump over an even thicker phone. But i never use my phone without taking it into my hands.

Instead of the 12 and Pro, they should release 2 Phones with the same features, but one of them is thicker and has a bigger battery. I would take the thinner one.
