I always use my Macbook Pro on my lap and whenever I go on a trip or a long road I take it with me...it's kinda heavy so I was thinking to remove the SuperDrive.
I never used it and even if I would need to use it some day I have a 24x LG USB 2.0 external drive.
How much does it weight ?
Also, I assume that I can use my MBP without the SuperDrive...
What do you guys think ?

Do you think that I will notice that decrease in weight ?

Depends on how strong you are and how you carry it and what MBP you have. The 13" MBP weighs 2.06 kg, the optical disk drive (ODD) takes up 6.3 % of its weight.
The 15" MBP weighs 2.56 kg, the ODD takes up barely 5 % of its weight.

If you can lift a cup and then fill it up to more than its half with normal sugar and you can feel the difference and think, that not carrying the difference is good for you, go for it.

But in all honesty, leave it, 127 gram is not that much to begin with. The power adapter weighs much more.

I have the 13" MBP.
I don't "feel" the computer right - I feel it very heavy and bulky and not so small like other 13".
