Hey guys/gals,

I was thinking about how painful it’s going to be knowing my new iPhone is just sitting in the FedEx facility near my house until Friday. I was daydreaming about going over there and slipping the Fedex clerk a $100 bill to grab my package for me. I was asking myself how much I would actually pay to get the phone a few days early. I thought it would be fun to see how crazy we actually are with a poll. :)

How much would you pay to get the phone today?

A more interesting question would be how much extra would you pay to get it on November 3rd if you didn’t get lucky. Of course, eBay can answer that question.

I’m assuming someone has a lot of time on his/her hands and post Dribbble on our forum to Pass the time. Since it’s not going to happen, what’s the point of the post ?

I think the post is fun just like it was intended to be! I don't know why people keep replying to "pointless threads" if they have no interest in them.

So let's say if, while preordering, Apple or whoever you ordered from offered to deliver your phone on October 30th if you paid an extra $75 (using this since this was the cheapest option on the poll) at checkout, you all would still say no? Judging by how excited most of us are and how angry a lot of people are about having to wait I personally think the answer to that question would be yes...a lot of people would opt to pay the $75 extra.

Flipping the question slightly... how much money would it take for you to give up your launch day iPhone X ?

Having seen what people are paying on eBay, I'm considering it.

What if Apple said they would give you the phone tonight if you give up your favorite food for 5 years?

What if time traveling aliens landed and had a futuristic version of the iPhone that they would give you in exchange for your preorder?

What if Tim Cook called you and said he’d give you the next 3 iPhones for free if you give him your current phone and cancel your preorder and only use a Motorola Razr for the next year and you eat raw Brussels sprouts every Tuesday for a year?

Yeah, it would have to be at least $2500 for me to let it go. From how crazy we are all going, that might actually be a possibility.

the second one.

Interesting question. Well, in my case I'm willing to wait longer, even a month or 2, in order to get the phone from my carrier at 1/2 price.

It's just a phone. Not a cure of cancer.

Nothing. I was actually ok with waiting until the 10th - 17th which was my initial delivery date. Getting bumped to the 3rd was nice, but I’m not even opening it on Friday, going out with friends and I’ll be home late so I’ll open it Saturday morning when I get up.

I’m not afraid to admit I have paid for overnight shipping on some pretty expensive items. I just want it now when I pay for it!

i can wait 2-3 weeks to get my phone I have no issue for waiting time lol, I’m keeping my self busy at the gym and work.

I wish you all the very best and I hope you enjoy your phone phone on 3rd !
