How much free space on 16GB/256GB config?

Just curious if anyone has the 16GB RAM/256GB SSD configuration and how much free space it comes with out of the box. I know more RAM carries a larger sleep image on the SSD, but Mavericks also uses less space on the install portion this time around.

Only 250 of the 256 are usable.

I got 40gb occupied with iworks, ilife, ms office (full), photoshop and a bit of data.

I figured as much. I know last year's model came with 250GB after formatting, and then you have the OS. So there should be around 230GB free.

You can save space by removing the iLife suite. Some of us will just never use it.
