This has been an expensive phone.

Phone itself $399
ATT upgrade fee $36
Incase Slider $35
Extra Lightning Cable $20
30 pin dock to lightning adapter cable (for my iHome) $40

Haven't ordered it until I can test the lightning cable, but I'm going to pick up the regular adapter too, to use it in my car... $30

... $560 for my 64GB iPhone 5 Black.

Am I happy with it? Hell yeah. But smartphones aren't a cheap hobby!

me too, i had about 25 cases for the 4s.my wife hates it but i like to change up alot

I am just as bad about that too! I had AT LEAST 6 or 7 different ones. I want an otterbox anthem defender for my work phone next... that way it can handle when I am at different build sites.

Get them to waive the upgrade/activation fee... or whatever it technically is called

Log onto AT&T's website, click on the support tab, click live chat (on the right hand side), and click billing chat...

And say something like:

"Hi, I was told by an ATT representative that I can have the activation fee for my new iPhone 5 taken off of my bill and waived. As an AT&T customer, I do not think I should have to pay an additional $36 for a phone I spent $399 on already. Could you please take care of that for me?"

How much have I currently spent on accessories for the iPhone 5: $0

How much will I be spending? More than I prefer... Assuming Apple's current prices:

$57 - Lightning Cables (3)
$29 - Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter
$39 - Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter 0.2 m

What have I already bought (and still using):

$300 - Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker
$600 - Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Air Sound dock
$100 - Logitech Harmony Link
$7 - Dual USB Car Plug + 30-Pin USB Cable (other port for extra lightning cable)

speck candyshell 34.99
poetic atmosphere 7.00
body glove dropsuit 24.99
belkin sheer grip 24.99
generic smoked tpu 9.99
incipio freq 14.99
anker bumper case.9.99

returned the speck case because of scratching

The Candyshell scratched? That is the case I bought for my phone that I don't have yet :) How bad was the scratching/where did it scratch?

Otterbox commuter: $35
Crappy generic TPU case: $10

So $45 so far. About $100 less than my 4's accessories ;)

it doesn't scratch the phone but the actual case itself scratches.if you have the black one that has a shine it will look like crap after about 2 days.the matte one is better .
