iPhone $400
uses iPod mini for mom $50
RAM $100

$2600 total

I'll be buying a MacBook at the end of the summer as well

this thread is kinda causing me to rethink my spending habits.. ;)

somewhere between too much and not nearly enough. I'm not sure where the distinction lies.

$30 on replacement iPhone headphones - the rubber on the earbuds came off and they're not comfortable.

I plan to spend about $5000 sometime next year (Mac Pro and MacBook), though. I'm saving up right now.

New 17" MPB with hi-res display -- $2800 (or so)
New Airport -- $100
New 16 GB iPhone on July 11 -- $300
Probably some other accessories or crap I can't remember right now -- another couple hundred

Total -- Probably will spend close to $3,500 on Apple gear during the first 6 months or so of 2008. :( It'll have to be much less than than that in the second half of the year!

£35: Apple Mighty Mouse (after old mouse broke)
£30: iPod photo

Hmm, I don't really go for the latest and greatest do I? But it's all the Apple gear I've needed this year.

AppleTV (160GB) = $329
Time Capsule (500GB) = $299
---------------------------
Total = $628

That's all i've bought so far this year. I expect my MacBook to last me at least another 2 years before I need to replace it. I'm really hoping Apple will release an AppleTV with a larger hard drive this year. I need at least 250GB, preferably more.

I'd say I've spent approximately $3000 in the first half of 2008.

So far this year I've bought a MacBook Pro, old AirPort Extreme Base Station (the flying saucer with b/g and 56k modem), old AirPort Express, iPod Classic 80GB, iPod Nano 8GB, iPhone 16GB, .Mac subscription renewal, and a new power supply for the AEBS due to a lightning strike killing the old one.

I did sell a lot of old equipment to pay for the new, so I really only paid about half that.

That post made me remember a friends response to the 2nd amendment (which is the right to bear arms) "so you mean we have the right to go up to any bear and take it's arms?"

puns make me smile!

i heard the best pun of my entire life a couple weeks ago.

one of my friends (friend one) is a master of puns, and another of my friends (friend two) is partially deaf and constantly makes jokes about it.

friend two: i'm supposed to get this new hearing aid in a couple weeks, it has bluetooth and stuff, so i can use it with my phone and listen to music with it and not get in trouble at school.

friend one: what? oh yeah, that's what i've heard.

Lets see, way too much

MBA 1.6 $1500.00 (Cash, New on Craigslist)
Time Capsule 1TB $529.00
Apple TV 160GB $349.00
iPhone (Unlocked) $500.00

GDriveQ 500GB $300.00

Probably another $1000 for all kinds of other accessories

Sold a Canon Lens I had so I can have some cash lying around for the 3G iPhone

16Gb iPod Touch, 2Gb Shuffle, Airport Express, plus retail Leo and iWork 08. ~$750 all in all...

80BG iPod Classic $249
Apple Hi-Fi $249 (I think)
17'' MacBook Pro (in Sig) $3,000
Computer (Apple) Accessories ~$400

Total: Approximately $4,000

1gb RAM a coupla months ago.

I said in my last post i wanted a 32gb ipod touch when they bring one out...they brought it out the week after. Now i want a 64gb so heres hopin the same will happen again!

£1215 24" 2.8ghz april iMac £230 16gb iPod touch. Then however much the update is because my iPod never came with it installed :I even though I ordered it from play.com a week ago! Both are worth every penny though! making the switch from windows is one of the best things I have ever done :D

iMac G4 15"
.Mac account
Bluetooth Apple keyboard

Total costs about $250.00

Unless a new Mini is released, I don't foresee purchasing anything new from Apple again. IF a new Mini is released, I'll be buying one on release day.

If 10.6 kills PPC support, I won't buy that one.
I don't need a notebook.
I have no reason to use a Mac Pro for daily driving.
I don't live anywhere near 3G wireless, so I don't need the new iPhone.
I have the AEBS-N, no technology upgrades coming for wireless that I'll need.
I don't watch enough (any) television to justify an AppleTV.

So, I'm set for a while.
