Hi all,
I've been having problems with OSX Tiger 10.4.11 - I've lost Safari and Firefox Bookmarks, corrupted files in iTunes, lost data in iCal and from Stickies and stuff from MacJournal too. So I want to Archive and Install OSX again.
My HD is 80GB with just over 14 GB available - and - importantly i think - i have a 48GB sparseimage file in my user folder according to Whatsize. (I use FileVault but backed up all my music files and deleted them from the HD in preperation to Archive & Install. When I tried to turn FileVault off i got an error message and so FireVault is still on).
My Q's:
Do I have enuf space on my HD to Archive & Install? What should I back up exactly and 'cause I haven't done this before, how do I back up to DVD's? (Just drag stuff to the "Burn Folder" and go from there?)

Thanx in advance for your help and patience from this newbie.
