How much do yous guys think this iBook g4 is worth?
12"
256mb ram
CD-ROM (no burner)
30gb hdd

The computer is in good condition. No scratches, no problems. However I have heard the hard drive making some strange noises from time to time.

what's the speed?

oh, and search ebay too (before someone comes along and slaughter you like they did to me)
 
If the hard drive is ok, I'd say around $300-325ish based on current eBay & Craiglist prices for that iBook with processor, memory, hard drive...

Yeah, you're right, if the hard drive is making noises that is a problem. Is the hard drive in the front of the machine kind of under the track pad? That seems to be where the sounds are coming from.
Can I look up the serial # and find out if applecare was bought for it?

BTW, this should be in the Marketplace under a feeler. This is abuying thread, not selling but then youve not got enough posts to merit posting in the marketplace.

Sorry I asked in the wrong section. I am looking to BUY this machine and I wanted some ideas on how much to offer. I've never heard of a "feeler" thread, I'll do that next time.

I think he meant $300. Oh, and you should skip the iBook and buy my Mac Pro! : )
