I've fought buying an iPhone since launch because of the monthly bill. I'm currently still on a family plan with Verizon so it's very cheap each month. IF I bit the bullet, I would only get the 450 minutes plus the text package. For those with this current plan on AT&T, how much is your final bill after taxes?

On my 2G is is $72 after taxes in Washington, so add about $10 more. Although in other states the taxes are lower.

TEG

Mine is almost exactly $100. Good thing my mom pays it, lol. I did buy the iphone myself though and am not a spoiled brat.......

Wow, higher than expected. I wonder if my employer has any discount program or deals with AT&T now that it's subsidized like any other phone.

I would consider you paying the ~$299 and her paying the ~$2400 to make you seem a bit spoiled.

That's kinda like saying that I bought a $1000 car, but my parents pay for my insurance, gasoline, and maintenance , but I'm not privileged or anything.

edit: My bill is $125.00 after taxes and discounts. It's for two people, so around $60 for each of us. 1 Blackberry for my brother, and my iPhone 3G on the 700Min W/ Unlimited Text and Data for both phones.

I have that same plan - 450 minutes and 200 txts on the 3G iPhone.

My last bill was $79.10 - I do get a small company discount of $7.50. So without it mine would be about $86.80

That seems more manageable. Does your company just have a deal in place with AT&T allowing you the discount? Also, what state are you in?

No problem.

I think others mentioned they also checked with their companies HR or IT departments to see if they qualified.

Forgot to state that I have the 450 minute plan with unlimited texts (includes taxes and everything else.)

I kinda do agree with you that I am a bit spoiled, but meant that I'm not a spoiled brat who takes no responsibility for anything and doesn't care about her belongings.....

$348.94! That's for 2 iPhone 3Gs and 1 iPhone 2G on a 2100 minute family plan, plus an AT&T unlimited data card.

$19 for $50 worth of calls/txt and 100mb of data. (i cant afford anything else)
plus in Australia we don't have to pay for incoming calls or received txts

450 anytime / 5000 night rollover standard plan
200 bonus min a month
250 txt at $3.99/month
25% company discount

roughly $64 a month after all taxes and fees.

$170 or so. One iPhone with unlimited data, 1500 text. Three other regular phones. 700 minute nationwide, $30 unlimited texts.
