Generally around £10 every 6 months, so £1.67 a month. Free to receive calls and texts, of course. I don't use mobile data on my iPhone, just tether it to one of my other phones.

Woa!! Some of you pay a great sum of money per month... 260$?! 220? :O

We have our phones bills incorporated on the cable and internet service... But isolated they would be 10€ each phone.

Unlimited call's and text's
1GB data

A typical months bill with AT&T.

I've never understood contracts, nor why anyone would want one.

Always bought unlocked sim-free for cash.

$30. T-Mobile Monthly4G. Still the greatest bargain ever.

Just switched to T-Mobile

1x iPhone 6 Plus

Simple Starter Plan
Unlimited Talk
Unlimited Text
2GB (with no overage. Data cuts off after 2GB)**

This. Unlimited texting, 5gb LTE data, and 100 minutes. If you don't use a lot of phone minutes, jump on this and don't look back. 30 bucks a month. Even includes hotspot and the unlimited music streaming.

How do I get this plan? On T-Mobiles site it say its only available for phones purchased at Wal-Mart or activated on T-Mobile.com what exactly does that mean?

Also on their site when it says pick a phone only 2 Apple models are available the iPhone 5S and 5C. It also says you can bring your own phone.

I have a iPhone 6+.

"Activated on T-Mobile.com" means that once you have the correct TM sim in hand for your phone, you log in and activate it on the site. All you have to do is follow the directions on their activation page, which is linked to their prepaid plan page if I recall. It's pretty straightforward. I ordered the sim through the site myself, but others have used new sims they got from retail locations or ebay.

You cannot be transferred to the $30 prepaid plan from any other T-Mobile plan. It requires a new, unactivated sim to sign up with.

As for the 5s/5c, there's no requirement to buy a phone. If your 6+ is unlocked, just get a nano sim for it.

I am using an iPhone 6+ myself on this plan right now. The easiest way to get the plan is to go into Walmart and purchase the SIM card pack that advertises $30/month on the package. It's in the T-Mobile section at Walmart. Activate it through that, and the website will give you the $30 option.

Unlimited Mobile Minutes to any US Mobile Telephone Number
Unlimited Texts

I love reading how much Americans pay for their phone bills, I pay the equivalent of $30usd total here in Poland and for that I have 5 phones with unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 30GB of shared LTE data and they also gave me a sim for my iPad to use that shared data as well. 3 of the phones are used by my wife's family which don't use data so it's basically all for me and my wife to use.

Beat that.

Which carrier is that?

I pay the equivalent to $11, with free calls and messages to numbers from my carrier and I have 500mb of data to spend.

I love reading people comparing what they pay in their country vs what others pay in theirs.

You cannot make a direct comparison. For starters, Poland has a PPP per capita for like 21k whereas the U.S. has a PPP per capital of 53k.

Poland and the U.S. cannot be compared. There are so many outliers and factors you are leaving out.

Monthly costs are ridiculous...

2 iPhones (5S & 6)

$60 for one line at 700 Rollover Minutes
$9.99 add second line
$30 unlimited texting (family)
$30 unlimited data for one line
$30 3GB data for one line

After taxes & fees it's about $175 per month. Work reimburses me $90 per month.

I've looked at the NEXT plans and the family share, but then the service is still $160 before the NEXT payments. Right now, we have one line each year that has its contract up...so we sell the oldest phone for about $275 which pays for the upgrade to the newest iPhone every year. Works for us...but I still think the service fees are outrageous.

For my Xperia Z3C - £15 for 30 days unlimited 4G data, 300 minutes, unlimited texts - pay as you go, no contract.

I buy a $650 phone for $200 (actually, $30 w/my trade-in). What's not to understand about that?

(I've had the same carrier for 10 years b/c they have reliable coverage, fast data speed, and quality customer service from my experience. YMMV.)

was paying about $80 for a single line with ATT. just got another line and pay about $135 on a shared plan. IP5 & IP6

Can I ask, why do you guys use so many phones?

Two I can get, work & home. but more then two? all that syncing...

Family plans!

I pay around $120 to AT&T for two iPhones and an iPad with 20GB (really 10GB doubled by the promotion that's over). I have a 17% FAN discount.

I save my mother $25 a month by letting her be on my plan compared to her previous MetroPCS account, not to mention better coverage.. The mobile share plans really become a good deal once you get a few devices on them.

iPhone 6 Plus 128GB

Currently £63.99, soon to be changed to £38.99 once my work discount is applied.

Unlimited minutes and texts, 20GB 4G data.

Hope I don't get bored of this phone anytime soon, it's with me for the next two years :)
