I have had my Late-2013 27" iMac since new. While it still serves me great, I am starting to think about what to get next. How many more years do you think until it is considered obsolete or no longer receiving MacOS updates from Apple? Do any of you guys still run obsolete hardware regularly?

If it still "serves you great", no problems, then just use it and stop worrying about "updates".
I still have an old MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 that boots and runs well enough for my needs.

I think Catalina is the last update for the 2013, so you'll get another couple years of security updates and that's that.
