How much memory do you have in your Apple portable? Just thought it would be fun to make a poll.

I've got 2GB of Crucial in my C2D white Macbook

I don't own a laptop yet, but I chose 2GB because that is how much it will have when I get it :)

I maxed out my MacBook Pro with 2GB of RAM. I would like more though.

Does any one now of any performance comparison between a 2Gb & 3Gb setup? I have only heard of a massive cost difference but not many comments on performance.

I agree... the performance gain of 3 GB for laptops** (and the iMacs) just don't seem to justify the huge premium, unless you use very, very RAM intensive applications all the time... like one or two instances of Parallels along with some PRO app and/or one or more Adobe apps... then 3 GB just possible might be worth it... for most users 2 GB should be just right... :)

(**of course on my MacBook I cannot use more than 2 GB TwinMOS RAM I got for it, anyway... ;))

1GB in my 1.83Ghz MacBook, it's fine for what I need at the moment but I can always upgrade if needs be.

Le sigh, iBook G4 rev. A with as much memory as it can hold... 640MB.

I wonder how much memory the fabled subnotebook will be able to hold? I hope it's a lot. :D
