I was just wondering if anyone could tell me approximately how much space for instance 1 minute video on the highest quality on the iPhone4 takes in the memory? I am trying to figure out whether to go for the 16GB or the 32GB.

It's 80mb a min roughly depending on lighting etc. You can't record at a lower level but you can export smaller with imovie

As a very base rule of thumb, with my videos, I've noticed that

1 sec of video = 1 - 1.5MB

So some of the people on here with 30 sec clips at ~30MB seems about right. It's not 100% exact obviously you can get decent grasp of the size of the file based on how long the video is.

All I can say is, they take up a lot. I have 7 gigabytes used for all my pictures and camera videos. My 2500 photos only take up a fraction.
