I require a $500 deposit, and getting the $299 32GB model, so what taxes/fees should I be looking at as a new customer? Give me a total min price I should have for launch day.

You need deposit money and the money for the phone plus state tax.

Look up the taxes in your state and county, and add that to your purchase price. In some states, like CA, you will be taxed on the unsubsidized price, so $699 if you're in one.

    Do the math.

I agree. A deposit isn't part of the purchase price.

Take your negativity elsewhere, maybe AI for example.

The tax at some states is on the FULL price of the phone before the contract discounts.

    Activation fee: $30?

Sales tax in WV is 6% therefore your phone will cost $316.94 plus your $500 deposit and any money for accessories.

Where in WV will you be purchasing?
