Let me put it this way, for someone who has started this year, I have not seen a return on my investment:

iOS Developer contract: $99
MacMini: $600
iPodTouch4: $200
Business-related: $60
Website-related: $100

So, spent over a thousand dollars this year, with nothing in return.

And some of these fees are re-ocurring, so I will be down another $200 next year.
