I have 23GB of music on a 320gb hd, I try to keep it to a minimal but I like to collect my fav artist discography's but lately i rarely listen to the older music anymore I might start keeping what I Like and stop collecting full albums.

Haha nice. I collect my fav artists albums as well. I have none on my MBP yet but when I do I will keep my albums in sync with my Macbook Pro and iPod Touch. I'll be able to reply to this question again if needed in 6 months time, or whenever the 2012 MBP comes out that I buy.

Cheers

Currently I have 34 GB on my MBP... but I have upgraded the HDD to 750 GB

I use iTunes match to stream to my iPad and iPhone and thus love having all this music on my MBP.

Lol you guys are insane.

I only have 12GB of music. I guess I make up for it by having 60GB of pictures.

0 megs. I haven't taken the time to transfer the tunes to the thing even though iTunes makes it pretty easy to do so. I imaging I will at some point but I'm in no hurry. Not sure why, but I'm not. LOL

I use my desktop to store/sync music to my iphone rather than my mbp. The less the harddrive spins, the longer it will last in my laptop. :)

94GB of lossless goodness on a 500GB :D
170GB of movies, all in 1080p :O

And a bunch of space-consuming programs, e.g. Logic. Yet this 500GB manages to go without an external fine!

I just checked - almost 23 GB. I'm surprised because I have less than 3 GB on my iPhone, which is my sole mp3 player right now (I have other iPods but don't use them). I think i have a bunch of albums that I don't actually listen to on here.

180gb of music, almost entirely electronic dance music.

1.25TB of movies and tv shows stored on external connected to router acting as a home server (great with Boxee Box)

None on my MBP. 120GB SSD isn't big enough for it, even without the Windows partition taking up half.

I have just over 11000 songs on an external drive. I've been re-doing my iTunes library so it's not all in iTunes yet. Should amount to ~100GB when all said and done, but I seem do get new music faster than I get my old music back into iTunes.
