How much of your iPhone storage is “System”?

I have an iPhone 8 Plus 64GB ios 11.3.1 (15E302) and under General: iphone storage it says at the bottom “System”: 10.4 GB

Is that a normal amount? What do yours say?

My 7+ shows 9.1 GB being used for the system. I'm also running 11.3.1. I would say your system storage is normal.

My 7+ shows 4,94 GB on iOS 11.3.1 😵 Literally half of what you have...

It is very irregular, as far as I can see.
