Snow Leopard is supposed to bring 16 TB RAM of addressing, but what will this hardware support for the future? 4 GB is fine for now, but we'll see what I want next year in the way of ram.

Anyone have an insight on the hardware side of RAM for these hybrid chipsets?

Experiments with 8 gb in the "old" MBPs have been abysmal performance.

From the specs of the nForce 700 chipset, it looks like the theoretical limit is 8GB. But I think all laptop chipsets are limited to 4GB only right now.
