How much should I offer for this MBP

Core Duo 1.83 Ghz - 2GB ram 15" - runs well.

I know it's an older model but I'm looking for a second cheap portable machine for basic tasks. I was going to offer my friend $200 for this machine. What do you guys think? Is $200 too much?

Thanks for the advice. I was going to offer $200 b/c it will need a new battery and the optical drive doesn't work. Although, I'll just have to see what he wants for it.
