I am planning to sell my 1st generation macbook and I was wondering what is a reasonable price to ask for. It has 1gb of ram and an 80gb hard drive. It works great, although the battery is not holding a charge like it use to and will need to be replace eventually. I was thinking of asking $550, but I was wondering if I should ask for $500 instead since the battery will need to be replaced. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sorry, this type of thread belongs in the Marketplace forum but you don't have enough posts to begin threads there.

Please do some research on sites like eBay, everymac.com, for current prices. Thanks :)
