I want to upgrade to 4.1, because 4.0 is so slow, but I was wondering how much space I would lose from it. 3.1.3 had about 7 GB of space (500 MB root partition), 4.0 has 6.8 GB (680 MB root partition), and I can't afford to lose anymore. I was going to use sn0wbreeze on my iPod touch 2G, but it said the root partition would become 800 MB. Is this correct? Do you 4.1 users have only 6.6 GB of storage?

PS: So greenpois0n doesn't work with the ipt 2G? And limera1n has issues. So are the only options for jailbreaking 4.1 are redsn0w and sn0wbreeze?

4.1 for an MC model touch was little more than the introduction of Game Center and patching some holes. I've still got 6.83GB. I won't be surprised if we lose support after this or the next firmware update.
