Think I'm even more bummed since upgraded my iPad last year taking (the then max) 64GB, and then in February they added the 128GB option. Grrr. I was really annoyed. I will like to take 128GB but that upgrade's priority is way behind the iPad mini where I would like to see at least a RAM bump. But for my next regular iPad upgrade, I'll take 128GB for sure.

128. I travel a lot away from good Internet so I like to have a lot of TV/Movies/Music Videos on hand.

if apple is not charging us $100 to double the memory, i will jump to 64gb on my next IPAD. otherwise, 32 is OK with me.

128 all the way.

I'm disappointed too that we didn't get a 128GB iPhone this year, but gives me reason to save some money this yer. :p

64GB. If Apple is going to discontinue the 16GB and the 128GB will be the same price as the current 64, then I will get the 128GB :D

I think the next set of iPad 9.7" will start at 32gb.

The 128gb was introduced after the initial release of the iPad 4, so I can see why they would keep 16gb and add 128gb rather than bringing the price down.

Now is the ideal time, 32gb iPad 5 with A7X for $500 is a very nice package compared to the Android and Surface counter tablets.

Also it gives a big incentive to upgrade from a $329 16gb iPad mini 2 A6X with retina display. As if someone is thinking about the 32gb mini ($429), for an extra $70 you get a faster, better iPad!

It will be interesting to see if the iPad announcements recognize the changing competitive landscape in anyway. The pattern that Apple is establishing is that they won't change pricing or memory on the flagship product; instead, they emphasize a new, lower-priced alternative (iPad mini, iPhone 5c).

Assuming no change in pricing, I'll probably drop back to 32GB. I had 32 on my iPad 1 and felt cramped, so I went to 64GB on my iPad 3. However, the iOS7 music app is so underwhelming that I have almost no temptation to put music on my iPad any more. Most of that storage would be for video, with some for apps and docs/books. For music, I still rely on my iPod Classic, or quite possibly my Surface Pro where I can use iTunes or Xbox Music, both of which are much better than the iOS7 music app.

My first iPad was the 3 and I bought it in 32GB. Its been absolutely fine, mainly filled with games and pictures.

I don't do long commutes so there is no need to store movies etc.. plus I have XBMC so im good
