Coming from a 64GB 11 Pro Max, I got the 128GB model. Firstly it's very unlikely I'll shoot in ProRes, let alone 4K and secondly I pre-ordered it on a contract and there was a significant price difference between the 128 and 256GB models.

1TB for me. I have a huge anime collection, and shoot a lot of family videos, and have tons of movies bought on iTunes, and have tons of raw photos. All add up. Also the price doesn’t really matter to me they are just several hundred dollars difference so I always get the best.

I wonder how much it really costs Apple to put 1TB in a phone as compared to the 512GB model.

I went with a terabyte this time. I had 512 on my 12 PM and while I haven’t maxed that out, I’m not good about goping through and tidying up photos, etc., so this kind of helps enable my digital hoarderdom. Lol

I’m surprised by the number of 1TB purchases! (Although the currrnt sample size of ‘8’ is not very many).
I don't think Apple made that many 1TB models, as when I got into ATT.com the dates were 27th-4th for every 1TB PM, and when I got into Apple, I had a 1TB Graphite PM in my bag, did everything needed, went from 24th to 6th-14th of Oct, so went back to ATT, Graphite went back to 4th-10th Oct, so went with Silver as it was the only 1TB PM with a Sept 27th-Oct 4th date.

I first went to AT&T but they said my number was invalid (a long story, their tech support is the worst I’ve ever seen). Then I went with Apple, hooking up to my own carrier later. I got my 1TB iPhone 13 Pro in Sierra blue for in-store pickup on September 24th.

They probably didn’t make many 1TB models because they didn’t expect them to be in high demand (or maybe they just wanted to make it look like they are ‘flying off of the shelves’).

I’m really looking forward to taking Friday off from work to (early in the morning) pick mine up. I’ll have the whole day to play with my new toy.

For those with 1TB. what are your ship dates?
The 27th!

Ended up going with 1tb since I’m constantly having to delete things from my 256gb 12 (200gb of photos). Since having my daughter I take pictures and video constantly so hopefully there is an even larger option a few years down the road.

256gb 13Pro to replace daughter's 11Pro 256gb - and a 128gb 13 to replace a 16gb SE (1st edition)

Moving from an 11 with 64Gb to a PM with 256Gb. Aside from the screen, battery and camera I’m really looking forward to the extra storage for downloading Netflix shows, giving ProRes a try and shooting more videos when travelling. This should be quite a significant upgrade.

512GB. I’m one of those people that still downloads their music lol. Plus I’m the one in the friend group that takes photos / videos so my photo library is huge with having an iPhone for 9+ years. So ran outta space on my 256GB 11 Pro Max lol

Initially undecided between the last chance to get a good iPhone mini and the Pro, I decided, tempting as the 1TB is, I'd go for the 256 Pro. That way I could nearly get a mini as well with the money I saved :)

Apple reckons I don't need any storage. 😳😂

512, so when I go on a long vacation- no need to take a mac , or ipad to offload all that pro res video. I only pay for 50 GB iCloud & back up to mac often.
