In my case, 2-3 weeks, according to Apple.
There's how it works (in my case):
- When ordering, you "declare" the traded computer details (SN, damage...)
- You pay the total import of the new computer
- When your computer is sent, the company (an external company) will send you the Trade package. You can track everything in your Apple ID details/Orders. There's also instructions of how-to prepare your traded computer
- When you receive the trade package, you sent the package with your traded computer
- When your package is received and everything is checked and ok (according to your "declaration"), Apple will return the accorded money to your payment method. In my case, Apple must return 310eur to my credit card
So, the new computer delivery and trade-in process are different ones. Maybe you receive first the new computer, maybe first Apple pay you the trade-in import. In my case, surely i will receive the trade-in import, because the delivery is set to 22 dec.
