wxboss macrumors member Original poster May 19, 2006 #1 After buying a new MB, how much time do you have to add AppleCare after the purchase? Thanks
devilot Moderator emeritus May 19, 2006 #3 ^^ Yup, but sometimes it takes a few days after you activate your specific account so do allow for several business days (before your 1 year is up). 😛

S Smallville macrumors regular May 21, 2006 #5 I'm thinking about getting a refurbed iBook for work. So what if the one I buy was originally sold over 12 months ago? Can I still buy the AppleCare?

Can I still buy the AppleCare? Click to expand... In this case you have 12 months from your date of purchase (I think, you should probably check to be sure).

Mord macrumors G4 May 21, 2006 #7 i wouldn't buy applecare, your better off buying some decent laptop insurance, that way if you accidentally drop it you'll get it replaced or get the money.
