how much to fix water damage Iphone 3g ?

Around about what a new iPhone would cost.

Depends on the nature of the damage... what do you need? new screen? new logic board? new battery?
 
Yeah depends on what needs to be replaced. If it's more than just one part, you're probably better off buying a new one.
