D Dixi1801 macrumors member Original poster Oct 25, 2012 #1 I've had a little read and the 4000 seems ok, but I can't help but wonder about the vram on it. How much does the 4000 have? And can it be raised from more ram, like the hd3000? Thanks 🙂 hope you're all enjoying your new minis!

R rshock macrumors member Oct 25, 2012 #5 I just received my 2012 Mac Mini base today with 8GB of RAM. About this Mac reports 768 MB of VRAM for the HD4000. I don't know if that would go up with 16GB of RAM. Perhaps someone else will comment.

MatthewAMEL macrumors 6502 Oct 25, 2012 #6 The Intel HD3000/4000 will scale to 1.7GB of VRAM. My 8GB 13"MBP has 1.5GB of VRAM while running in 64bit Win7. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-029090.htm
